This Privacy Statement sets out Singer (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 198301002635 (97871-K) AJL93004) ("SINGER") collect, store and handle personal data of individuals in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA") and the laws of Malaysia.

"Personal Data" refers to any information which relates directly or indirectly to a natural person / an individual. This includes any information that can be used to distinguish, identify or contact an individual. For the purposes of this Privacy Statement, personal data encompasses sensitive personal information which relates to information relating to health, political opinions, religious beliefs, etc.

By providing your personal data to SINGER, you are consenting to this Privacy Statement and the collection, use, access, transfer, storage and processing of your personal information as described in this Privacy Statement.

If you provide personal data of third parties to SINGER, you warrant and represent to SINGER that you have obtained the required consent of the third parties for the processing of the relevant personal data by SINGER in the manner set out herein.

4.1 SINGER may be required to collect personal data from you during the course of your dealings with SINGER or for the purpose of SINGER's business activities. Such Personal data may include, but not limited to, name as per identity card, preferred name, identity/passport number, age, contact number, residential address, email address, birth date, gender, race, nationality, occupation, designation and such other data necessary for the purposes which the personal data is collected.

4.2 The personal data provided by you to SINGER may be processed by SINGER for the following purposes:

a. to provide you with the products and/or services you have requested
b. to investigate and resolve any service issues, billing queries, complaints or other enquiries that you submit to us regarding our products and/or services
c. to administer the business or contractual relationship between SINGER and you and/or your company.

SINGER has implemented security policies and technical measures to protect your personal data in accordance with such requirements of the applicable personal data protection laws and regulations. If processing of the personal data is carried out by a third party on behalf of SINGER, SINGER will require the said third party to protect the personal data that they receive from SINGER.

SINGER will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or to comply with legal, regulatory and internal requirements. Afterwards SINGER will destruct or permanently delete your data.

Any inaccurate information that is brought to SINGER's attention will be corrected as quickly as possible after notification. You are obliged to provide complete and correct personal information to SINGER to enable us to process your
